Just seen in /r/starcitizen in reference to a question about a “free fly week.”

“<span style=”color: #4d5763; font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px;”>There was supposed to be one at the same time as E3, but 2.4 live was a hot mess of connectivity issues, missing ships, and bugs”</span>

I wondered why he specified that about 2.4 when all 2.x patches have been hot messes with connectivity issues, missing ships and bugs. Made me laugh.

I backed it. I back quite a few games on KS. Having a playable demo to download was a good point in SS’s favor.

I doubt there will be any issues reaching their goals. It’s been positively received overall.

As time goes by, “filthy goon” will become a badge of honour you’ll be proud to wear.

Woman sues Microsoft in California in small claims court for Win10 fiasco and wins 10K.

Know any disgruntled SC backers looking to get their money back in that state? Looks like a viable outlet as no lawyers are allowed.

Are Donald Trump and Chris Roberts the same person?

They are both running organizations on the edge of bankruptcy.

Past business performance is sketchy at best for both.

              They are both proven liars.

Roberts want to build the best damned space sim ever.

Trump wants to build the best damned border wall ever.

They both state they don’t need any more money.

They’re both actively collecting more money.

Roberts rambles on with a camera in front of him.

Trump rambles on with a camera in front of him.

What they both say is somewhat separated from reality.

Trump has multiple corporate entities globally.

Roberts has multiple corporate entities globally.

Roberts refuses to divulge financial info.

Trump refuses to divulge financial info.

Roberts promises things that he can’t deliver.

Trump promises things he can’t deliver.

Report anything negative and their supporters send ridicule and death threats your way.

Their supporters refuse to see their flaws.

People either love them or hate them.

Has anyone ever seen Roberts and Trump in the same room?

Could Trump be Roberts in a bad wig and saggy rubber mask?

When Obi Wan Kenobi said, “You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villany.” he was wrong.

Just go to the CIG forums and be amazed at the intolerance, ignorance and inanity.

The only nugget that everyone missed, “On a secondary note, to the people who posted that they will not be agreeing to the new TOS, I’m sorry to tell you but posting that very line on these forums and thus using the services provided by CIG, you have already agreed to the new TOS.”

Is anyone taking regular backups of the RSI forums? One day they are just going to disappear and a record of what went on will be necessary.

https://archive.org/web/ does a semi-decent job, but they only average a few bkps a month (3 in May, 3 in June.)

A concise, up to date record seems needed before they start running their shredders and mashing delete keys wholesale.

Took me a while (I went through 70+ websites yesterday looking for stuff), but I finally found it. The UK address is in here. http://pastebin.com/WDQDaNzT

It’s the EU version of their ToS. I saw the changes from the US address to the UK address. Saw the comparison doc showing the international ToS update change, but I can’t find it. Pretty sure it was linked through Reddit, but all my Google searches take me to the US ToS version compare.

With their (legal) pull out from Texas, it is conceivable they are transferring operations overseas (or at least minimizing exposure) away from US jurisdiction.

RSI is a separate legal entity from CIG. CIG collected the kickstarter funds so if they transfer ops over to RSI then pull the plug on CIG, that’s it. All the KS money goes *poof* and you have to sue a dead company without assets. A legal version of three card Monte.

If they transfer ops to RSI UK, then pull the plug on all US legal entities, the US customers are well and truly screwed unless they want to mount an international lawsuit.

Purely theoretical, but why have more than a dozen companies globally? Does not make sense.
