I didn’t mean it at all in this way.
It sounds an extreme comparison indeed, like a whole stuff going on with SC good or bad. But it wasn’t out of nowhere, I invented nothing there, and was first revealed by former employees and actual sources. About his bad and explosive temper, the way he dictates how the things must be from A>Z it can’t work. The way he doesn’t need to listen to any advices, etc. it’s all in TheEscapist article.
Have you watched the last RTV ? Ben is scared to death. Another hint look at all of them from 3 years ago and compare to now, dig into the whole lot of 10 for dev/artists/designers/etc , see for yourself. In the latest ATVs Brian Chambers looks like he hasn’t got a rest for like never.No more official attacks; but he said something about letting the naysayers -aka DSmart- do their noise, since they are building the bdsse anyway-so they say.
Nope it was all bluff and barking. Like any dictator, they speak and shout loud because really, they have nothing consitent to say.

I stopped listening to CR after he began to go on about persitence. For real this guy naturally speaks like a Cult leader. His wording is manipulative to the extreme. Is this what people mean when they talk about his ability to share his vision? trancript from INN , at least they’re still usefull for some things:

And he goes on and on and on. Lol wait, what !? I’m pretty sure by ‘persitent universe’ you meant ‘persistent universe’ CR, and we all know what that meant back then. WTF is this about all the unsignificant details of it? we don’t care, unless……..unless there’s nothing bout persistent in your PU (as we could see anyway) and you are trying to dodge as usual? But this is what the backers pledged for, and I’m sure you’ll remind them about when the time comes.So from then I begun looking at the behaviors. Jared nothing to say. He’s the perfect troll. He could be one of the most active cultist or he could be the maul, I don’t know.
Ben is very uncomfortable , scared and upset . And is giving up.
I’d like to say few things bout his health and the way some people make fun of it. I dunno about Ben’s health , I don’t care, I hope not for bad things to him , and I’m not happy at all the way some people makes fun of him because of his weight. This is not fair, this is not fun at all and at the same level of those shitizens’s talks . The goon forum was spoiled with that kind of things for a while : None of this was fun.But what tick me is about his eyes and hands and they way he looks at CR. Something tells me he has realized how fraud are the people he’s working for. Not that he didn’t know about , but the same as for the former cultists, he just seemed to be awaken now. He also seems totally washed out broken by the weight of the lies he’s been telling us for all that time. I dunno why but I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt, and I believe he was a true CR fan and SC believer untill very recently. He seems upset and very angry toward CR . And tired out of distress/stress. Something in his whole behavior seems to say : “Those guys were right (us), I’m working for a cashgrab and dream selling machine, I really don’t like it anymore, and the whole truth to my eyes is just breaking me down”.
I wouldn’t be surprised someone there has played a long term psychological harassment on him. No proof but this is how it seems.Okay I could be completly wrong, and the guy would just be a total asshole ,that take his cool paycheck each month. Untill we know the truth…
Also Sandi wtf are you doing in the background? why don’t you come show your face up front camera? at least say hello to backers.Let’s persist in the verse commandos.

Very good idea there are not enough debunk videos dealing about what was said before/after. You are pointing out some very precise issues we’re having with the man. Overall you have digged into the right stuff. This kind of video may help backers about their bad and short memory.
If I may help you with one ‘bad’ criticism: is about how you deliver the message. In its actual state your video will be enjoyed by us since we already agree with you, and by the sceptical ones.
But making derision of the man will not be appreciated by the backers, and thus, won’t educate them. They’ll close themselve right away to the video, same as they did for the first set of videos MajorTom released. You have to think the way shitizens think and then make your videos, always thinking on how about to deliver the message to them, with them hinting on it.
The actual set of Major Tom’s video is becoming nice, he’s touching now not even the sceptical ones , but also the whales and shitizens. They’re starting to watch his videos from a neutral ground and not only from ‘ omg look, Derek over there!’ point of view.
If you make fun of CIG, CR, Sandi, or Ben in your videos, the shitizens won’t even watch it.Anyway keep going, this one was nice, I guess the next ones will be even better.

Exactly the point .they’re just beeing blind to the truth. They would freak the hell out if they’d begin to question the project. it’s not fun to admit
1) Putting 3k$ into non-existent virtual good might not be a so good idea. (even if the project is viable, come on ffs you don’t ask so much to people, this is crazy in itself)

First yeah I stop to think, this is the reason why I went from standard backer to thinking of CIG this way now. You might surely understand that since I had pledged for SC there was a point in time I was confident in CIG right? Now thing is, I’ve started to question the project for myself when they failed to deliver SM back in march 2015. From then I started to question more things, and you know what happens when you investigate stuff? you find some anwsers of wich you would have never imagined to be occuring in the first place.
The backers are lied to by CIG; From then any expectation that would indeed be legit for any other game is beeing void in this case. What we are trying to say here is : stop thinking of this project as a game development and start to question it.
Come on dude , they have failed every single deadline, they have NOT delivered starmarine though they have been pushing it for one entire year. How you call something that was promised and then nothing happen? I call it a lie. And they havent done this once, or twice, they have done it many many times. How could you still have confidence in them then? They don’t bring any anwsers so how are we supposed to understand wtf happens there?
As for the evidences they are all around you, we don’t ‘fabricate’ any ‘proof’ here, and I remind you we are not in a court. These are just opinions. And if you can’t see the evidences I can’t help you. You might just indeed keep thinking CIG is perfect in everyway and that they will release the bdsse. Also if you really think CIG is solid then why do you even care about us saying bad things about them? This should not worry you as it should not worry backers at all.
And to end this, do you really think Derek, me and other former backers are just enjoying our little crusade against CIG for the sake of bullshitting everyone??? It is not fun, beeing coned isnt fun, deiscovering someone you thought to be a good guy , and in fact is a fraud isn’t fun, and trying to free people’s mind out of this cult is far from beeing fun.
Out of interest, how much have you pledged for starcitizen? Do you think this ‘affair’ would go this way if CIG wasnt asking for so fucking much money for a pledge?I personally can’t listen anymore to these poor souls’s shit talk. They’re all saying the same thing, making it more blatant how much they’re drawn into the cult. If you want to help , the best you can do is troll comment the baddest ones, and try to ‘eductate’ at maximum those willing to have a convo. I’m not doing it too much cause it would be ridiculous, but you can find some of my comments in numerous of YT videos about sc.
Frankly the more we are to debunk these people the better. You can also try to make debunk videos such as Major Tom’s. out of the efforts he gave, people (whales) are starting to watch them twice and agree to what he says. They ‘re waking up. keep the fight , and then in 10 years you can say ‘Yes I was there during the second great inet war, I was there to help prove SC was smokes and scam.’Corpsealot, some interesting dude and his 2 cents about SC . 1st video, 2dn one.

These guys obviously understand nothing about game development ! it’s only Alpha , relax and learn to accept frustration ! Moreover I sense a great deal of DSmart style in these talks : They have to be all banding together, ploting against CIG.Okay joke aside. Finally. They’re waking-up. Massively.
Was about time , and will be victory when they’ll finallly understand this is what we have been saying for so long. And a complete one when we’ll see an Apology sub on reddit . To you, to the backers, to the people. This will happen.
