This is what I’m trying to say here : there is no ‘current level of development’ there has never been. It’s just all about testing mods into cry engine editor, and animation team making shiny advertisment comercials. All you see, as for playable content, from them is VERY easy to build up with a competent team. It’s worth 6 months works. its only demo. The scam is behind that when they make us believe all they’ve ‘developped’ so far is incredible. It’s not. the biggest part of the team beeing on comercial production and marketing. And the con team on the top fooling everyone.
As for the evidences? CIG provides them everydays, we only analyse and dissect them here, that is all.They are waking up too. But now how long will the industry be able to welcome CIG refugees? As you said somewhere these hundreds of people (if they are still that many?) will be left with no job . I think this is the saddest and ugliest part of this scam in the end.
I won’t sum everything that has been said in these blogs , and on various places on inet, but, there are at least 2 con brains at work there imo from the begining. And as for ChrisRoberts : he is a grown autist, drawn into his megalomaniac visionary dreams, and a total fool. And he’s fooled backers all along the way as well (edit : and he’s fooled the people working for him !). Not even talking about Ben.
Unfortunatly, the thing is that it’s not a time for speculation anymore in a serious manner. What people at most don’t realise yet is that this project is dead already. It’s a scam machine, a real one, that never ever intended to be game production at all. One can speculate on how the game will not provide every feature in 2017/1/8/19 etc. No. This project will be dead soon, going to court, FBI on it, and Roberts and co into jail. It’s a ponzi scheme whatever you want to call it. They have NO intention to release anything, regardless of who set that on in the first place. Just cash grab disguised into game prod.
And you know the funny thing ? I discovered E:D because of SC back then when I didn’t know anything of the genre and wanted to try an actual finnished game. With that in mind that SC would certainly be better than E:D given the scope and funding. Well to this date I have like 77 euros invested into ED and been refunded 200 with the other thing.

Horizon is really good btw, OKay lacking of features right now but I guess we all went “wow” when we saw the release schedule . But since Frontier has proven its seriousness…Just can’t wait for the end of 2016.Hello Pindleton,
_ You can try reiterating your request by adding your thoughts about the ponzi scheme this all looks like, and more specifically the referral program, wich they can’t argue on that since they have absolutely nothing to give in return. They literally ask you to ask your friends to buy a non-existent product.
_ The children companies they have on European soil are violating the EU consumer protection laws. You are in the US but nevertheless CIG as an international company is already violating several countries laws. It is not as it was proven true yet , but we all know they’ll loose in any court. They know that too.
_ Also as Derek and the Goons suggested, inform them you’ll be contacting your bank and make them do a chargeback. And actually do it anyway.Give them as much as law related facts you can. Scare them, they only deserve so much.
To be honest Derek, If I had the money to sue them alone I would do. Even if I’ve been refunded, and thanks to you when you said “guys it’s now or never” back in october, I’m still so mad at Croberts and crew for what they’ve done. I want them to pay for real. Now that said , do you know if consumers have started to meet up and organise, or, are we like the very first wave aware of it from when it began to stink? in wich case, how about we start organise ourselves? In Europe things can go fast if we gets enough crowd voicing in. I just absolutely don’t know how or where to begin nor have the ressources to do so.
