ED is a completely different concept from what CryTek pitched. I didn't back ED. But at one point Chris decided to clone it.
At this point CR is copying everything that is popular and can generate ship sales - also look at totally unnecessary survival mechanics -
hearthrate and stamina...
Now they need some battle royale mode..
More dreamcrafting = more sales...
